Università degli Studi di ParmaI hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques and a Master’s degree in Psychobiology and Cognitive Neuroscience. During my Master’s studies, I specialized in cognitive neuroscience with a focus on clinical research and neuroimaging. My thesis project investigated the neural basis of cognitive functioning in patients with Alzheimer’s disease using functional MRI. After graduation, I completed a post-graduate internship at the National Research Council, where I trained in neurophysiological techniques such as EEG and TMS, gaining expertise in non-invasive brain stimulation and its applications in both basic and clinical research. I am currently working as a research fellow in a Neuroimaging Lab, where I have strengthened my skills in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific writing. My research experience includes co-authoring a scientific article as co-first author, contributing to a published review on brain plasticity and rehabilitation in children with cerebral palsy, and presenting a poster at the National Conference on Neuropsychology. These experiences allowed me to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical research skills, while collaborating in multidisciplinary scientific environments. Overall, my academic and professional background reflects a strong interest in the study of sensorimotor and cognitive processes in both healthy and clinical populations, with particular attention to brain plasticity and its implications for rehabilitation.
