Psychologist and researcher at the University of Bari Aldo Moro - whose activity focuses on the neurobiological correlates of affective processing and reward. Her research employs multimodal neuroimaging techniques, particularly fMRI, to dissociate the neural circuits of emotion and understand the impact of environmental events, such as stress and trauma, on those circuits. It also investigates how the reactivity of these systems affects conditions
transdiagnostic psychopathologies, such as anhedonia and visual hypoemotionality. The ultimate goal is to identify markers of vulnerability to guide early intervention strategies.
