Contract research collaborator
Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi Onlus - IRCCSI obtained my university diploma in Biomedical Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan in 2003. From January 2004 to October 2014 I carried out research at the Don Gnocchi Foundation in the development of wearable sensors, integrated with textile technologies, for
detection of biomedical signals and design of dedicated electronic devices. I participated in the design and provided support for carrying out clinical and non-clinical experimental projects, in which these devices were used: in the field of cardiological rehabilitation,
telemedicine, protection in work contexts exposed to specific risks, cardiovascular physiology studies at high altitude, cardiovascular physiology experiments with air force pilots, and a project to study sleep physiology in the aerospace sector.
After a suspension of the collaboration with the Don Gnocchi Foundation in the years 2015-2018, during which I carried out training and obtained a degree in Physiotherapy, in January 2019 I resumed part-time research activities at LAMoBiR, collaborating on two projects of validation of a cognitive-motor rehabilitation system for home use, and supporting the upgrade and deployment of an innovative wearable system for monitoring biomedical signals, developed at the Don Gnocchi Foundation (SeisMote system).
