Ricercatore a tempo determinato di tipo A (RTDA)

I am a researcher at the Department of Experimental Medicine, University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” (Naples). Since 2022, I have also served as an executive member of the SIF Early Career Pharmacologists Group (SIF-ECPG) within the Italian Society of Pharmacology, where I contribute to the promotion of scientific activities and the training of young pharmacologists. My current research focuses on the pathophysiological mechanisms of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and the potential benefits of novel hypoglycemic agents. Using an aging-associated cardiometabolic HFpEF animal model, I investigate the protective therapeutic effects of cardiovascular and metabolic drugs. By combining basic experimental research with pharmacological approaches, my goal is to generate translational insights that may improve the clinical management of cardiovascular diseases.
