Prof. Giulia Ramazzotti, PhD (born 1978) graduated in Medical Biotechnology from the University of Bologna in 2003. After a research experience at the University of Palermo (2003–2004), from 2005 to 2018 he carried out activities as a doctoral student, research fellow and fixed-term researcher at the Cellular Signaling Laboratory from the University of Bologna. Since 2019 she has been Associate Professor of Human Anatomy at the same University. His scientific activity concerns the study of signal transduction pathways in nervous system pathologies and the analysis of cellular interactions in the nervous microenvironment, with a focus also on myogenic, osteogenic and differentiation adipose stem cells, as well as on the effect of drugs in the hematological field. She is a member of the Italian Society of Anatomy and Histology since 2006 and, in the same year, received a Travel Award at the Gordon Research Conference “Signal Transduction Within the Nucleus”. She is the author of 68 scientific publications (1846 citations, h-index 28).
