Education and roles. I am a psychologist and a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Pavia, Department of Brain and Behavioral Sciences. I received a BSc in Cognitive Psychology and a MSc in Psychology (Neuroscience curriculum) at the University of Trento in 2019 and 2021 respectively. From 2021 to 2022 I worked as a psychology trainee at IRCCS Sacro Cuore don Calabria (Negrar, Verona), to then receive the professional qualification as a psychologist in 2022 from the University of Cagliari. In 2023 I was admitted to the doctoral program in Psychology, Neuroscience and Data Science at the University of Pavia (XXXVIII cycle), and I currently work at the Developmental Psychobiology Lab (IRCCS Fondazione Mondino, University of Pavia) under the supervision of prof. Livio Provenzi. Alongside my work in Pavia, in 2025 I collaborated as a visiting scholar with the Department of Cognitive Neuropsychology at Tilburg University (Tilburg, The Netherlands), where I worked for six months (from January to July) under the supervision of prof. Marion van den Heuvel and prof. Edyta Swider-Cios. Research overview. I mainly work in the field of developmental neuroscience, and I am interested in exploring the neural underpinnings of early social relationships during the first 1000 days, particularly between infants and their parents. I am interested in early relationships in conditions of typical infant development as well as in conditions of atypical/at-risk development (e.g., preterm birth, neurodevelopmental conditions, environmental stressors such as maternal depression/anxiety or financial stress). Productivity. I authored a total of five papers in international scientific journals (h-index = 2, Scopus).
