Research fellow

Research fellow at the Department of Clinical and Experimental Sciences of the University of Brescia, Qualified as Second Class Professor (Associate Professor) in Psychiatry (Disciplinary Sector 06/D05). Involved in the study of cognitive deficits in schizophrenia spectrum disorders and severe mental disorders and their treatment and in the study of evidence-based psychosocial interventions and their effects on psychosocial and cognitive functioning.
Other lines of research include autistic features in the schizophrenia spectrum, the Life Engagement construct in schizophrenia spectrum disorders, the impact of cognitive deficits in the context of forensic psychiatry, the pharmacogenetics of antidepressants, the use of neurostimulation techniques such as transcranial direct current stimulation in schizophrenia and borderline personality disorder.
