Specialist in Pharmacology and Clinical Toxicology

Dr. Anna Meloni is specialist trainee enrolled in the Specialization Course “Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology” at University of Cagliari. Anna has a MSc degree in pharmacy and started working as research assistant in the Laboratory of Pharmacogenomics of the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Cagliari and a PhD in Neuroscience. Anna has experience in research laboratory activities, which she developed during the traineeship for the preparation of the MSs thesis, the research fellow, and the PhD course. Her research activity has been focused on the investigation of the genetic bases of psychiatric disorders and response to psychotropic medications, with a specific interest in the role of accelerated aging and inflammation in mood disorders.
