Research Fellow

Riccardo Manca is a psychologist and holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Sheffield (UK). He is currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Parma. His research interests mainly concern the use of neuropsychological tests and neuroimaging techniques to investigate: the bidirectional relationship between mental and cognitive health, risk factors for cognitive decline in understudied populations, neuropsychiatric disorders in people with dementia, and the effects of pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions in people with neurodegenerative diseases and cognitive deficits.
