Università degli Studi della Campania - Luigi VanvitelliDr. Luigi Giuliani, doctor-surgeon, is a type A temporary researcher at the "Luigi Vanvitelli" University of Campania in Naples. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2015, specialized in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in 2020, and completed his PhD at the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" in 2023. He was a visiting doctor at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he studied the application of artificial intelligence methods to improve psychiatric diagnosis and prognosis. Both research focuses mainly on the phenotyping and treatment of psychosis, with a particular interest in the study of the neural correlates of negative symptoms and cognitive impairment, as well as on the development and evaluation of new pharmacological and psychosocial interventions for serious mental disorders. He has published more than 30 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has contributed to international multicenter studies. Dr. Giuliani is also a medical director at AOU. "Luigi Vanvitelli" and professor at the Institute of Cognitive and Post-Rationalist Psychotherapy. Dr. Giuliani is an active reviewer for scientific journals including European Psychiatry. Frontiers in Psychiatry and BMC Psychiatry. He has presented his work at major international conferences, including the ECNP, ECSR and EPA congresses.
