Maria Grazia Ferraro earned her master's degree in Pharmacy in 2017 from the University of Naples Federico II, immediately beginning her research on the study of cellular responses to new anticancer therapies in human carcinoma models, supported by a fellowship at the Department of Pharmacy of the same university. In 2018 he worked at the Telethon Institute of Pozzuoli on the study of dopaminergic alterations in mouse models of mucopolysaccharidosis, developing skills in translational neuroscience and characterization
biochemistry of neurodegenerative disorders.
From 2019 to 2023, she earned a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Science from the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Frederick II, studying the mechanisms regulating cell death and survival in preclinical models of breast cancer. During his PhD he carried out a research period at the College of Medical, Veterinary, and Life Sciences at the University of Glasgow, deepening his knowledge in advanced data analysis using biostatistical and bioinformatics approaches, with a particular focus on multi-omics analysis and big data integration
organic. Since 2020, his experimental activity has continued thanks to a postdoctoral fellowship in collaboration with the University of Glasgow. In April 2024, he won a competitive selection for the role of Fixed-Term Researcher (Type A) in Physiology (BIOS 06/A) at the Department of Molecular Medicine and Medical Biotechnology of the University of Naples Federico II. Currently, his research is focused on the role of Formyl Peptide Receptor 2 (FPR-2) in preclinical models of human glioblastoma, using multidisciplinary approaches that
range from cell and molecular biology to functional pathway analysis.

She is the author of 41 scientific publications in international journals.
