Dr De Donatis, after obtaining a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Parma, obtained a specialization in Psychiatry from the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna in November 2020, with top marks and honours, discussing an expert thesis on plasma levels of antidepressants and clinical response. During his specialization course he carried out clinical activity in various contexts of hospital and local psychiatry, including SPDC, CSM, clinics for anxiety and mood disorders, liaison activities with general medicine. She took part in clinical initiatives such as Social Skills Training and Psychotic Beginnings Supervision Groups, and did a period of research at the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Aviv under the supervision of Dr. Dina Popovic.
After specializing, he collaborated with public (South Tyrol Health Authority), private (Le Betulle Clinic, PsicoCare Centre) and academic (research assistant contract at Humanitas University) structures. He has also gained experience in the field of online psychiatry. He currently holds the role of Health Director at Serenis Health srl, as well as carrying out clinical activities in a clinic dedicated to perinatal psychiatry.
His scientific production includes 12 articles in international peer-reviewed journals (such as International Clinical Psychopharmacology, Frontiers in Psychiatry, Journal of Clinical Psychopharmacology and Progress in Neuropsychopharmacology & Biological Psychiatry), with particular attention to psychopharmacology, panic disorder and cognitive functions in psychosis. The H index is found to be 6 with 96 citations (Scopus Author ID: 6508194719).
He has participated in national and international conferences (ECNP, SOPSI, EPA) and has completed training courses, including a Master's degree in Psychopathology and Perinatal Psychiatry.
