PhD student in Neuroscience
Università degli Studi di ParmaI embarked on my academic journey with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques at the University “G. D'Annunzio” of Chieti-Pescara. Later, I continued with the Master's Degree in Psychobiology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Parma, developing a strong interest in clinical and experimental neuroscience. In this context, the thesis internship, carried out at the Neuroimaging Laboratory and the Cognitive Disorders clinic, allowed me to delve deeper into the use of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as a non-invasive investigation tool of the functional and structural bases of the brain, both in healthy subjects and in neurological patients.
After my master's degree, I did a professional training at the Neurological Institute “Carlo Besta” in Milan, UOC of Neuroradiology, where I subsequently served as a Senior Scholar. This experience has enabled me to gain advanced skills in experimental design, functional and structural MRI data acquisition and analysis, as well as science communication.
In parallel, I consolidated my clinical education with the II level University Master in Clinical Neuropsychology (developmental age, adults and elderly), carried out at the Skinner Institute and the European University of Rome, with an internship at the Neuropsychology Clinic of the Milan Polyclinic. These experiences strengthened my interest in the neuropsychological characteristics of neurological disorders and the integration of neuroscientific knowledge into clinical practice.
Subsequently, I qualified as a Psychologist, and I am currently a PhD student in Neuroscience at the University of Parma, in collaboration with the Neurological Institute “Carlo Besta” in Milan, carrying out scientific research activities that combine theoretical study with clinical application.
