PhD student

Doctor, psychiatrist (Specialization obtained in 2023) and doctoral student (PhD in Clinical Medical Sciences e Experimental – Psychiatry curriculum, University of Campania “L. Vanvitelli”). Currently in service as psychiatrist at the DAI of Mental Health of the AOU “L. Vanvitelli” of Naples.
Core focus: consultation-liaison psychiatry, with a focus on the interaction between psychiatric disorders and organic comorbidities, also in relation to inflammatory mechanisms; management of psychiatric emergencies and hospitalizations in SPDC; new frontiers of psychiatric rehabilitation, including the use of virtual reality.
Involved in numerous national and international multicenter projects and studies: EDGI (disorder genetics of nutrition), MNESYS Spoke 5 WP2–3, DEEP READ (predictors of rehospitalization in depression), Immune4Plasticity (PNRR, neuronal plasticity and immunity), studies on psychosis, bipolar disorder, psychoeducation, perinatality and workrelated stress. Prevailing clinical activity in the Regional Reference Center for Disorders of
Eating Behavior (AOU Vanvitelli) and in SPDC, with care of complex patients affected by Severe Mental Illness, organic comorbidities and personality disorders.
Previous experience includes collaborations on mental health promotion projects in adolescents and general population. Also active in the educational field as a tutor for medical students and rehabilitation technicians psychiatrist and psychiatry residents.
Author and co-author of numerous publications in international peer-reviewed journals, reviewers for sector journals and speaker at national and international conferences (EPA, SOPSI, SIP, SIPS).
Member of SIP, EPA, SIPB and SIPS. Winner of the second prize for best poster at the 2024 SIPC Congress.
