I am a research fellow at the University of Bologna as part of the national PNRR project MNESYS - Spoke 5 (Mood and Psychosis), where I deal with the development of predictive models of treatment outcomes in disorders of mood and in psychoses, integrating genetic, socio-demographic and clinical factors, with a focus on onset psychotic. I obtained my Doctorate in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Bologna (Department of Psychology) focusing on the neural basis and adaptive strategies of spontaneous thinking (mind-wandering) and deliberate (perspective memory), and using techniques such as tDCS and pupillometry. Previously, I achieved the master's degree in Neuroscience and europsychological Rehabilitation and three-year degree in Psychological Sciences Development and Education at the University of Padua, both with top marks and honours. I matured skills in neuroimaging analysis (fMRI, EEG/MEG), advanced statistical models and machine learning, evaluation neuropsychology and programming in R, Python and MATLAB. I collaborate with research groups in Italy (University of Bologna, Padua, SISSA), France (INSERM, Lyon), the United Kingdom (UCL, Sussex) and Canada (York University). Ho published articles in international peer-reviewed journals including Cortex, Brain and Cognition, Neuropsychologia, Attention, Perception & Psychophysics, PeerJ, Brain Structure & Function, and presented my works at conferences internationals such as the Cognitive Neuroscience Society (CNS) and the European Workshop on Cognitive Neuropsychology (EWCN). I do peer-review work for scientific journals including Brain and Behavior, Journal of Cognitive Psychology, Frontiers in Psychiatry and Journal of Affective Disorders. I have been the recipient of grants and awards, including the Marco Polo Scholarship (University of Bologna, 2024) and the Trieste Next Scholarship (2021).
