Dr. Claudia Compagnucci graduated in Biological Sciences in 2005 at the University 'Roma Tre' and took her PhD at the University of London, King's College (2009). She spent two stays abroad, first at the pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly, Windlesham (UK), where she studied the dopaminergic pathway of the blink reflex in vivo using the rat as a model (from September 2003 to September 2004) to test pharmacological compounds for Parkinson's disease treatment and at the Department of Craniofacial Development of the University of London, King's College, UK (2005-2009), where she was recipient of a Marie Curie Early Stage Training Fellowship studying genotype-phenotype correlations in Foxg1, Dlx5 and Pax6 mouse models focusing on the neurodevelopment.
