Monia Cabinio holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Neurology and is a researcher at the Center for Advanced Diagnostics, Therapy and Rehabilitation (CADiTeR), IRCCS Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi in Milan. Since 2011, Dr. Cabinio has been studying the Central Nervous System using advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging techniques. Her research focuses on brain changes associated with neurodegenerative and vascular diseases, and on the relationship between these changes and innovative rehabilitation programs.
