Università degli Studi di PaviaGabriella Bottini is a medical Doctor, a Neurologist, she has a PhD in Neurological Sciences, and she is a Full Professor in Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience. She is the Director of the Cognitive Neuropsychology Centre of ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda in Milan where she practices clinical neurology, especially focusing on stroke patients and neurodegenerative diseases. Gabriella Bottini has numerous
publications in prestigious international scientific journals, as she contributed to the advances in the knowledge of the neural correlates of touch, of Body Integrity Dysphoria, and of the behavioral and neural bases of body representation. She is Principal Investigator of numerous national and international funded projects, as well as she is a councilor for the Italian Society of Neuropsychology, and she has studied and worked also in Switzerland and England. Gabriella Bottini is a delegate with responsibility for the University’s Third Mission activities and Public Engagement, as well as the coordinator of the PhD program in Psychology and of a second level Master degree in Art Therapy at the University of Pavia, where she teaches Cognitive Neuropsychology, Forensic Neuropsychology, and Cognitive Rehabilitation.
