NEUROLOGO, RICERCATORE

Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi Onlus - IRCCS

Dr. Valeria Blasi is a neurologist and senior researcher with expertise in advanced neuroimaging and neurorehabilitation.
She began her research career at Washington University in St. Louis, where she investigated post-stroke neuronal plasticity using cutting-edge neuroimaging techniques. Since 2012, she has been a senior researcher at the Center for Advanced Diagnostics and Treatment - CADiTeR, Fondazione Don Gnocchi Onlus. Dr Blasi’s work focuses on the application of advanced imaging for the identification of neuroplasticity mechanisms relevant for the the rehabilitation treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders and age-related disorders such as dementia. She is also actively involved in technological innovation for telerehabilitation.
