MNESYS adopts a multidisciplinary approach that leverages complementary experimental approaches covering the phenomenology of the nervous system from the molecular level to the whole organism, from clinical evaluations to innovative pharmacological approaches and computational techniques based on the creation of virtual models of individuals, known as “digital twins.”

The fundamental objectives are:

• The identification of biomarkers for the early diagnosis and prognosis of diseases and response to treatment interventions
• The identification of molecular and cellular targets for the development of new pharmacological tools
• The development of computational models (i.e., digital twins) through the acquisition and integration of multi-modal data.
